Lace frontal wigs, lace front wigs, full lace wigs, full lace cap wigs. Are all these terms confusing you? What do they REALLY mean anyway? Yeah, I know figuring out this lace front business is hard but you'll get there. O.K. let's start with some basic definitions
Lace frontal wigs- Are partial units normally covering the front and midway toward the back. They require additional work after the unit is applied. To finish the look you can either sew in wefted hair pieces to the stretch base with straps in the back of the cap or it will have ventilated stretch lace with straps in the back of the cap that you can clip into place I don't recommend regular frontal lace wigs to a beginner. Depending on the route you go they can be time consuming and require professional help. Some people find frontal lace wigs easier to deal with, especially if the have trouble applying a full lace wig at the nape area. Becuase it is a partial unit, gluing/taping the nape is totally avoided. Full lace wigs/full lace cap wigs- Full lace wigs on the other hand fit around the entire perimeter of the head. Measurements should be taken before a purchase to ensure a proper fit. Hair can be attached into place by either glue or tape. You may need to experiment a bit to find out which one works best for you. over all a lot of the other terms are often used interchangeably. When shopping for lace wigs it is important to read the description carefully and make sure you understand what you are buying. If you have any doubt at all contact the vendor before you purchase and clarify it.
