In Styler
In Styler
I bought the In styler a couple of months
ago and I must admit I was a little skeptical about the hype. I've been seeing
it in the infomercials for some time now and I have been tempted to buy it more
then once. I currently own a Chi Turbo Ceramic Flat iron that I loved so I
figured if it ain't broke, why fix it? Still I was smitten with the new concept
of a hair straightener that actually rotates/spins on its own.
Background on my hair care Regime
I normally visit my hair stylist about 2
times a month. When I am not at the salon I do my own weekly treatments and deep
conditioners at home. I go to a "Dominican style" salon that provides services
such as "blow outs". With a blow out, my stylist normally will set my hair with
rollers and place me under a hooded bonnet dryer for 45minutes until my hair
dries. Once my hair is dry and the rollers are removed my hair stylist uses a
high quality bristle brush with one hand and a blow dryer with the other hand.
She constantly spins the bristle brush while using the dryer in the other. This
leaves my hair smooth, shiny and bouncy. I've tried to duplicate this look at
home with no success. When the Instyler came out it very much resembled the
spinning motion that my hair dresser uses so I figured hey why not?
Does the In Styler compare?
I must admit I'm glad I took the leap with
this curling iron. The InStyler definitely compares to high quality
professional flat irons that are out on the market today. My hair is pretty
thick and it straightened it while leaving plenty of bounce, body and shine. I
am a veteran user of Chi, GHD, and Tourmaline ceramic flat ions and I must say I give the instyler an A+
